The Cala Luna Beach
Each evening just after sunset, at the first owl call, the Moon closes the doors of time so that the bays, the beaches and everything belonging to this place may remain unchanged and only the centuries are left to protect these Environmental treasures. C.S.
The amazing beach of Cala Luna is situated just a little south from Cala Gonone; it is almost five-hundred metres long and is bordered on the south by the pool created by the Codula di Luna brook and on the north by a series of big grottos lined up along the rocky wall.
It can be reached on either a trekking trip, in about two hours, or a boat trip, leaving from the small pleasure port; sporty types can approach it by kayak or canoe.
