The simplest way to reach Dorgali and Cala Gonone is to pass through the Strada Statale (State highway) 131, a four-lane fast road that connects the island's major harbours and airports to each other.
Exit at the 69,300 KM (Lula-Dorgali exit) of its central link road (the S.S 131 DCN), and proceed for 20km towards Dorgali until you reach the Statale 125.
Cala Gonone, a seaside hamlet of Dorgali, is located just 7km away.
If you do not have your own car or a rented one, the Sardinian Region offers a public transport service with bases in the capitals of the province and in some minor centres, from which you can move extensively all over the island.
